Staying Still

187 classes in 182 days.
40 classes in 39 days in the 101 challenge.

The room was on fire yet again yesterday. I just expect it at this point. Lots of people in the room, tough teacher, the usual. One thing I like from class yesterday was the teacher making the point about getting your postures so they are all like Savasana. Totally still and normal breathing. Not an easy task by any means, but certainly a lofty goal to look forward to. I can get there for a few of the postures, but still a long way to go on all of them.



  1. I love, LOVE it when I can get to the stillness within the posture. Makes it all worth it. Thanks for the reminder.

  2. Yes, I guess that's why savasana is the hardest posture to master. It comes first. You can't master the other postures until you've got savasana nailed.

  3. Man, I think there's an secret international Bikram Yoga Studio pact to make the classrooms extra hot this week.

  4. When the stillness is there it look beautiful and easy and feels so as well.
