Do you ever get strange food cravings when you're practicing a lot? I have once in a while, but lately I've been craving pickles. Pickles! Specifically, big kosher dill pickles. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that, I just think it's funny. So I went and bought a big jar recently and I munch on a few of them after class at night. I like drinking the pickle juice too. At least I'm not craving pork rinds or Doritos:)



  1. I used to crave oranges and beef, but mostly yoga helps to regulate my appetite. Sometimes I crave plain cheeseburgers too.

  2. You're craving the salt....your body is telling you to balance your electrolytes. Since you do SOOO much yoga, you might want to get some pink himalayian sea salt and add a tiny bit to water with lemon before practice.

  3. Mmmm...pickles. I guess I have a salt problem too. I just ate french fries. I eat olives and pickles after class, quite a lot!

  4. I've been on a pickle binge for weeks, my friend. There are many worse ways to get your salt.
